Le Beau Gustave wants to make life easy for the depositor! The first contact can be made:

During this initial meeting, we discuss your requirements, the documents you wish to deposit, and the most practical way to do so. We answer your questions regarding financial conditions.

For large deposits or if you are unsure about the choice of parts, we can arrange an appointment at your home.

Do you live in the provinces or in a country bordering France? We have come to you on occasion, but the easiest way is to hire a carrier (usually Chronopost) so that we can collect your deposit, once it has been pre-validated with photos.

  • Give your products every chance

Dry cleaning, buttons, leather care, resoling... Some of your items may require a "spa" treatment. We can handle these at rates negotiated with our service providers.

The various costs incurred are deducted from the deposit price.

  • Sell ​​at the best price

The only physical and digital platform specializing in second-hand men's fashion, Le Beau Gustave offers the best context to showcase your pieces and sell them at the best price.

We take care of all stages of the sale: selection and refurbishment when necessary, price assessment in agreement with you, highlighting and promotion on social networks, putting it online and presenting it in the showroom where customers can try it, sale and collection, sending parts, after-sales management.

In terms of commission, this amounts to a maximum of 40% of the sale price, 50% going to you and 10% representing the VAT on margin due to the State.

This base rate applies to simple textile items, our commission decreases and your earnings increase for accessories and high-value textile pieces, the idea being that your items sell quickly and well to our mutual benefit.

These conditions are obviously set at the time of filing.

We are often asked about firm purchases. This is possible in certain cases and for certain brands (Hermès, Vuitton, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Céline, etc.)

  • Deposit still available for consultation

Following the deposit, evaluation, and price confirmation, we'll email you a link to a Google Doc summary. This document acts as a deposit sheet. It's updated as sales and payments are made to you. This allows you to easily track the progress of your deposit.

There is no obligation to give us your email address, and there is definitely another way to keep track and take stock.

You may be unsure about which pieces you'd like to sell or not. Specializing in men's fashion, the Beau Gustave team will be able to advise you. Our service can extend to optimizing your wardrobe. This optional service is presented separately. In all cases, we are attentive and ready to discuss.



  • Product Focus

For men, quality is a major selling point, even when it comes to fashion. We therefore look for items in new or very good condition. It is important that the products have not undergone any major personal alterations, except for custom-made pieces.

  • The Beau Gustave evolves with the seasons

To ensure better sales potential for your warehouse, we have a list of product categories that we accept based on seasons.

Winter pieces between September and January, more summery pieces between February and June.

All year round:

Bags and all kinds of leather goods, belts, scarves, cufflinks, shirts.
 We are often asked about ties, it is possible, but on a very selective basis.

In terms of brand, Le Beau Gustave is luxury, high-end, designer, also open to sartorial and more cutting-edge brands.

Luxury brands mainly concern Hermès, Berluti, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, Smalto, Arnys, Lanvin, Loro Piana, Louis Vuitton, etc. (non-exhaustive list)

High-end and designer brands mainly concern Acné Studio, Burberry, Ami, APC, Moncler, Paul Smith, Ralph Lauren (preferably Purple Label & RRL),... (non-exhaustive list)

The sartorial includes Gaetano Aloisio, Jean Manuel Moreau, Ciffonelli… (non-exhaustive list)

  • Contract duration

The deposit contract is concluded for a period of 5 months.

The depositor undertakes not to recover his products for a period of one month after receipt of the digital sheet which will be sent to him in addition to this paper document.

The depositor then has a maximum of 2 months after the end date of the contract or from the first notification by SMS or email to recover unsold or unselected parts following the deposit.

Any unsold item not collected by the depositor after this period (2 months) belongs to Le Beau Gustave SAS, which will donate it to charities of its choice. Le Beau Gustave can store the items for a short additional period if the depositor expressly requests it by SMS or email, but in this case, the depositor agrees to pay monthly storage fees of €10/month including VAT (any period of 30 days started being due). If the depositor does not pay the amount at the end of the storage period or if this storage period exceeds 3 months, he will not be able to recover the items, which will be considered as belonging to Le Beau Gustave SAS, which will donate them to charities of its choice.

  • Non-compete clause

For the duration of the deposit, the product is exclusive to Beau Gustave and offered for sale by Beau Gustave. The depositor agrees not to list or sell his product on any other resale platform such as Ebay, Vinted, Vestiaire Collective, etc., for the duration of the contract.
Otherwise, the deposit will be returned in full to the depositor.
